This was AF's idea. Or rather, the idea to have the smeets singing in church was her idea.... and Aislinn's badly-pronounced and off-key Latin canticles were also AF's idea. The rest of it was just for my own amusement.

Okay! On the left with the flaming hair is Antonio Vivaldi, directing the choir without much apparent success. He's holding a rosary in his hand, but you can't see. Don't mind the colorful outfit, neither. I found it on a vestments catalog online and thought it neat.

Watching the director attentively and being an adorable, quiet, and yet uncooperative student is cute widdle Eve. In this she's doing that happy smeet bug-eyed stare that they KEEP doing without moving or speaking no matter what you say or do or how much you jump around and scream.

Next to the right, singing her lungs out, in badly-pronounced off-key Latin, is Aislinn. Borderline ADD and probably doing that just to annoy the choir director.

Behind Aislinn is Lyra and Roger! ^-^ Poor Roger is confused and lost and has no idea what those weird symbols on the sheet music are for or what's going on or what he's supposed to be doing.. so his best friend Lyra is helpfully showing him where they are.

And finally, in the back there playing the pipe organ in accompaniment to the singers like a complete dork is yours truly. 8] If you feel the urge to quietly choke me to death, please feel free to indulge.

GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO!

Oh, and the file that inspired AF's idea for this is here:

Very cute. I really like the bright rainbow hues in this. You have managed to convey a lot of expressions through those large, buglike eyes of theirs. The persepective is a bit off between the pilars and the organ floor, but that is the only improvement I think could be made. Very nice work.

Oooh ooh this is the fun thing I forgot to mention! Everyone is on a flat plane except the organist who is on a tilt and a 3/4 angle... what I did was the best I could do without re-drawing everything.. since I foolishly only noticed it after it had been inked and scanned (cuz I drew them all in random spots on the page with no bearing to anything else). Hence the perspective problems.

MY CHORUS SANG THAT!!!!!! Everyone else hated it 'cause they thought it was hard, but they are STUUPPIIDD!!!!!! Any one who has the oppurtunity to just hear this, know that I can tell you how Vivaldi should [I think] be listened to.

one:
Imagine you are at the calmest land [or whatever] for relaxing

two:
put on the music

three:
just feel, dont think.

that applies to any music don't you think?

>_<
How did I turn this from a review into a lecture..........AGAIN!

9_9 any ways its really a great pic Lynne
